Pokhara Technical Training and Research Center is a community institution, established in 2052 BS with of objective of providing quality technical education in the nation. It is situated at Ranipauwa-11 Pokhara, Kaski.

The institution has been running Community Medical Assistant (CMA), LAB Assistant, and Caregiver programs affiliation with Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).

The institution is started to support the government for the fulfillment of the health manpower required in the country and train a medium level, low-level health manpower, community medicine, auxiliary, and health laboratory assistant as needed in the country.

Offered Programs - CTEVT

  • Community Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • Lab Assistant (18 Months)
  • Caregiver (3 Months)


For CMA and Lab Assistant

The Candidate must be SLC passed.

The candidates must pass the entrance examination which is conducted by CTEVT and the selection will be based on the merit list.

For Caregiver

The Candidate must be 8 grade passed.
